Dear Parents & Students,

I am sure you have all received the message from Superintendent Threadgill.  Given schools will be closed during planned instructional time (March 18 – 20 and the week of March 23 -27), we have been using and will continue using Google Classroom and Khan Academy for my Algebraic Connections and Geometry classes.  The only difference is the material that would have been provided in class is now available to students online while they are at home.  You should already have these codes and have been using these platforms but in the case that you haven’t, now you have the information and should start.  Please follow the instructions below for your respective class and check your email for updates.

Google Classroom Instructions:

You can print the worksheets or work on notebook paper.  Please make sure your work is titled so I know what you are submitting if you decide to put your work on notebook paper.  I have given all of you spiral notebooks so you should have that paper to use.  Submit a photo of your work through google classroom.  Pay attention to due dates.

You will continue to use the Khan Academy platform already in place (the same one used during 3^rd Quarter) to view instructional videos, read articles and work on question sets that are assigned.  Again, please pay attention to the due dates.

I did set the due dates for some assignments to April 5.  This DOES NOT mean you have to work during spring break.  I am just giving you extra time to complete your assignments.
