Bio
In high school, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to volunteer at the Special Olympics. The experience really helped define my life. I absolutely fell in love that day, and I have never looked back. I attended the University of South Alabama, earning a BS in Special Education (MR/MH 0-21) in 1995. In 2007, I earned my M.Ed. in Collaborative Education at the University of South Alabama. I am certified to teach English, Language Arts 6-12, Special Education, ages 0-21, and Collaborative Education, 6-12.
I currently serve as a special education teacher, department chair, LEA, and JV Cheer coach at Davison High School. This is my 30th year as a high school special education teacher.
I have three children, Mary Grace, Collin, and Wesley.
My work history includes: LeFlore High School 1995-2004; Murphy High School 2004 -2009; Williamson High School 2009-2013; Murphy High School 2013 to 2024; Davidson High School 2024 to present.
I am thrilled to be back at my alma mater, Davidson High School. Always marching forward, onward; Warriors, black and gold!!!
