Davidson High School Class of 2023 alum Jimmie Beth recently visited her alma mater to share her incredible journey!
She’s pursuing a dual degree in Integrated Marketing & Communications and Public Policy at Ole Miss—earning both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts. Her strong foundation from the IB and EPIC programs (and 38 hours of AP/IB credit!) has helped her thrive in writing-intensive courses and master time management.
Jimmie Beth interned with the Mobile Chamber of Commerce in the summer of 2024 and dreams of working in economic development—with her ultimate goal being a role at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
We’re so proud of her accomplishments and can’t wait to see what’s next! 💛🖤

Davidson’s NJROTC has earned an invitation to the prestigious Navy JROTC Area-16 Super Meet this February at Neshoba Central High School! 🎖️ This elite event brings together the best teams for a chance to qualify for Navy Nationals in Pensacola.
Our invitation comes after strong performances at Pearl River H.S. in October and Tulane University in November. To compete at this level, teams must excel in Unarmed & Armed Drill Regulation, Drill Exhibition, Color Guard, Academics, and Physical Fitness—and we’re ready to show our Warrior Pride! 💪⚓

Our Culinary students had an amazing experience at Hope Farm! 🌱🍴 They explored the daily operations of a restaurant, toured unique farm setups—including mushrooms, mixology, and hydroponics—and learned about menu development and research & design. Plus, they enjoyed a delicious lunch! Huge thanks to the Alabama Restaurant Association and ProStart for helping make this trip possible through a grant.

Over the weekend, they claimed 1st place in the BEST Award and secured 2nd place in Robot Performance against fierce competition from 23 teams spanning across the southeast.
A huge shoutout to our incredible alumni—Katie Kramer Wallace, Nolen Lenard, Brian Carr, and Kaylyn Stanford Grable—for continuing to give their time and expertise to keep this amazing opportunity alive for our students. Davidson pride runs deep! 🖤💛
