Davidson High is proud to celebrate Andrew Pope, Class of 2024 — IB, EPIC, and Kinetics Dance Company alum who is thriving at Morehouse College!
Andrew is now a sophomore Biology major with a Political Science minor, on the path to medical school — and he’s already stacking accomplishments:
• Dean’s List & Top Ranking Scholar
• Member of the Howard Thurman Honors Program, serving communities across Atlanta
• Intern Academy member for the Secretary of Health & Wellness for SGA
• HBCU Rising Mentor Tutor Program tutor
• Involved in Health Career Society & Biology Club
• Ambassador for the Office of Institutional Advancement
• Performer with Spelman Dance Theater Company
• Active in the Black Youth Empowerment Network
He also gives a special shout‑out to Dr. Moody, saying his first two biology classes were “breezy” compared to high school — and he earned A’s!
When asked about staying in IB, Andrew says:
“It will be one of the best decisions you’ll make in your academic career.”
He attributes his success to the resilience and optimism IB helped him build.
We’re so proud of you, Andrew — keep shining and showing the world what Warrior excellence looks like! 🌟🖤💛

Students celebrated with plenty of pie and sweet treats, wrote creative “pi-kus,” and even tried their hand at drawing the perfect circle. What a delicious way to make math memorable! 💛🖤

📚✨ New Library Furniture at DHS! ✨📚
Davidson High School received beautiful new furniture for our library thanks to the generosity of County Commissioner Connie Hudson and Poarch Band of Creek Indians.
We are incredibly grateful for our amazing community partners and the support they continue to pour into our students and our school! 💛🖤

IB and EPIC junior Brayden Sadler has earned a perfect 36 ACT superscore — an incredible accomplishment achieved by combining his highest subject scores across multiple test attempts!
Brayden is involved on campus and in the community, serving as a National Honor Society member, a 2025 Capstone Leadership Academy participant, and an active leader in Youth Leadership Mobile and the Mobile County Youth Drug Education Council. He also participates in extracurriculars like varsity cross‑country and Davidson’s Invitational Model UN.
Help us congratulate Brayden on this remarkable achievement and for representing Davidson High School with excellence! 👏🔥

Based on glowing feedback from jobsite supervisors, Terrance impressed with his eagerness to work, strong engagement, thoughtful questions, and willingness to tackle every task—from site clean‑up to working alongside HVAC subcontractors and plumbers. His instructor, Mr. Perry, shared that the Building Site Superintendent had great things to say about Terrance’s professionalism and work ethic.
Terrance is a DHS senior studying HVCAR & Mechanical Systems, and he continues to make us proud through his dedication and drive. Keep shining, Terrance! 🌟
