Grand Bay Middle School Honor Choir students spent Monday and Tuesday collaborating with choir students around MCPSS to put together a concert Tuesday, February 3rd at 6pm at Murphy High School. Congratulations to Olivia McGallagher for auditioning and being selected for a solo and Hartlee Rodgers for being selected for a descant part.

As this year begins to wind down, there are several things involving 8th grade that are coming up! Currently, there are yearbook ads being sold that you can purchase for your 8th grader. There are also 8th grade t-shirts being sold. These can be worn any day of the week as a uniform shirt. Yearbooks are also still being presold. Lastly, save the date for the 8th grade honors' program!

Parents,
MCPSS has been monitoring the weather all weekend and has been in discussion with Mobile County emergency officials regarding the forecast for Monday. Based on the most recent updates, we will have school on Monday, January 26, on our normal schedule. Students are expected to wear their uniforms, but to stay warm, they will have the option of layering either under or over their uniforms.
We will continue to monitor the weather and the roads. We look forward to seeing each of our students tomorrow.
